Gas Transmission
Tempest can handle high pressure. One past project involved more than 40 miles of six- and eight-inch natural gas line between Nephi and Delta, Utah, installed in just a few short weeks. The terrain ranged from sandy soil to solid rock to river and highway crossings.
Many of our projects have critical schedules and special requirements. For example, a 12-inch pipeline crossing through ten miles of Indian reservation required that tribal members make up 90 percent of our crew. Another recent project necessitated a prairie dog habitat biologist on the crew full-time during construction. We completed both projects on time, with positive results.
